Lancaster creeps up slowly to the nest and peaks inside. He sees three colorful eggs nestled inside of a bowl of full sized branches connected by vines and covered over with moss.
While he's watching, the mother bird flies in. It's a long, muscular bird with no feathers, but tiny hairs that grow out of it irregularly, like patches of grass on a poorly cared for lawn. It resembles a pterodactyl, but with muted gray-green fuzz. It doesn't seem to notice Lancaster yet.
What should Lancaster do?
