Upon closer examination of the building, various portions have broken off the walls and rubble lines the sides.  Every entrance is blocked by high rubble that Lancaster is unable to get through.

He steps back, pulls out his grappling gun, and fires over the top.  The latch catches, and he buckles the gun to his belt.  He presses a button and the grapple reels him upward until he reaches the domed roof.  He puts the gun away, then steps carefully to the portion of the roof with a large hole in it.  Peaking in, he peers down at the large room below him.

It appears to be a former observatory, with a large telescope still in tact staring out at him.  Around the telescope are computer terminals.  The power will be long since gone, but if any memory is still inside them, they will tell what the Zeborno thought of outer space.

There's only one problem, a giant creature, perhaps sixty feet in height, lying curled up around the equipment.  It resembles a mythological dragon, with a long, crocodile like mouth, and a body that resembles a dinosaur.  Its legs are slightly different in that its front legs are more like arms with four fingered hands, and its legs have long, almost comical feet.  Its wings are small and thin, and look more like they are ornamental.  And at its rear it has more of a stub than a tail.

What should Lancaster do?

Go to the building with plants devouring it

Go to the building with slanted roofs

Sneak in and look at the equipment

Make a distraction that causes the creature to run out
