Lancaster pulls out his hand com and ducks down. He punches in the private signal with his index finger then whispers, "This is line needs to stay crater quiet. Is anyone there?"
A voice whispers back that they are, and asks who he is. Lancaster explains who he is, where he is, and what he's witnessing. There is a silence on the other end that seems deafening to Lancaster. At last they come back on and tell him that a security team will be on its way.
Lancaster shuts down the com and peaks out again. The pirates continue, unaware of his presence. Lancaster realizes he did the right thing by waiting when he sees a second wave of the pirates he had not seen before hidden behind a wall of coral, ready to ambush anyone who comes near.
After a few minutes, it's starting to look like the security team might not make it in time. The pirates are loading up the last of the loot, and the ambushers are even coming out of their hiding, heading back toward the ship.
What should Lancaster do?
